The Oasis Beach Pool in Bedford, which has been in operation for 34 years, is known even to those who have never been inside, as its architecture resembles the famous Louvre museum in Paris.

The local authorities in Bedford have announced plans to renovate the Oasis Beach Pool.

The pool was opened on Cardlington Street in 1991, and now the city council is looking for a new partner to carry out the renovation.

“The Oasis Beach Pool has become a beloved venue, and as part of the council’s recreation strategy, we are committed to preserving this location for future generations of residents and visitors to our district,”

— stated Councillor Sarah Gallagher, responsible for customer service, leisure, and culture in Bedford.

“We believe that with the right investment and management, this place could be reimagined as a modern, inclusive destination for local residents and the wider region.”

A new attraction may appear in the area by the river.

Currently, the entertainment center has a pool with two water slides, bubble mattresses, a mushroom fountain, and a ‘bubble explosion experience’.

There is also a party room, although it is not very impressive, as children spend Time after their celebrations eating packed lunches.

The pool holds swimming sessions for people over 60, aqua aerobics, and activities for children under 5, along with family entertainment.

The pool also features Aqua Splash — a water attraction with inflatable obstacles.

The cost of a swimming session for adults is £6.75, while for children it’s £1 during designated hours on weekends.

For even more water fun, it’s worth visiting one of the largest tropical water parks in the UK.

Waterworld in Stafford maintains a temperature of 30 °C; although it is not the largest indoor water park in the UK, it is the largest tropical indoor water park.

Visiting this attraction at any time of year will be a great option on a rainy day.

In addition to the warm indoor temperature, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of slides.

Among other attractions are Nucleus — a water roller coaster, as well as Stormchaser and Cyclone.
